A team from Banyards recently attended our chosen charity, Rainbow Trust Golf Day at Hever Castle Golf Club.
This increasingly popular event saw a number of teams of four play 18 holes of golf on the championship course set in 250 acres of stunning grounds.
Ian Fordham and Sam Kench, along with guests Gareth Leggeat and Dan Kincaid from Clague Architects, valiantly made their way around the course playing to Stableford rules (where the best two scores per hole are counted). Unfortunately, despite their best efforts the team’s average score was not good enough to challenge the top spot this year.
The 19th hole was taken in the club house and was followed by a 3-course meal, prize giving, live auction and a comedian.
The Rainbow Trust is a Children's charity that provides support for families with seriously ill children which Banyards are pleased to support. This year we are pleased to say that the event was a great success and raised over £20,000 for the charity.
