People are our greatest asset. We value our staff and their development is the measure of our success.
As a consultancy business, we know that our people are critical to our success. Our people are some of the most innovative, experienced specialists in the industry. As we strive to build a sustainable, successful, Banyards future for us all; we work hard to employ the best people, to motivate them to do great work for our clients, to be mindful of their wellbeing, to reward them for their fantastic contribution and to create a culture and working environment in which they want to stay.
Banyards’ compensation and benefits packages are designed to reward our people for the great work they do – we want to be attractive and competitive as an employer, so that our star performers want to stay working with us, and so that we can attract new talent to sustain and grow our success.
We actively support our people and encourage them to build great working relationships with their team members and recognise the amazing work they do. We all know how important it is for our own motivation and morale to know that our hard work is recognised by our colleagues and managers and this is part of our Banyards culture – acknowledged at team meetings, praise at performance reviews and one-to-ones, informal celebrations throughout the year which create a culture of appreciation and sense of value.
We also encourage and reward personal development and career progression. Building your capability and developing your career benefits both you and Banyards so we see this as a win-win.
In designing our Reward, and Progression strategy, we aim to offer the opportunity for our staff to benefit from what is interesting, relevant and of value to them. We value feedback at all times to ensure we provide our people with access to things they really value.
All the above is underpinned by our commitment to Investors in People (IIP); we have the honour of holding the Gold accreditation in recognition of the commitment we provide to our people.
Our dedicated and highly skilled teams Commissioning Managers, Design Consultants and Validation Engineers are all supported by a diverse range of support functions. Our Directors and operational board encourage leadership and innovation right through the business to help our people develop through their careers leading to our sustainable future.
Annual and interim reviews provide our employees with feedback on current delivery and future potential.
At Banyards we recognise the commitment and effort our people demonstrate and reward them in many ways, including:
