Banyards are pleased to have been appointed as Commissioning Validation Engineers on two of London’s most prestigious new build projects.
Appointed via GVA Second London Wall on behalf of Exemplar and M&G Real Estate who are on-site with their new development at the London Fruit and Wool Exchange in the heart of London’s Spitalfields, this is regarded as the last major redevelopment site in this prime location; the scheme will deliver 320,000 sq ft of new Grade A space including 260,000 sq ft of office and 40,000 sq ft of retail, roof terraces, restaurant, café, SME and community space. Completion is scheduled for 2018.
In addition we have been appointed by TIAA Henderson Real Estate again via GVA Second London Wall on the 60-70 St Mary Axe (aka The Can of Ham) development. Sustainability is high on the agenda with the scheme aiming to achieve BREEAM excellent, delivering over 430,500 sq/ft of high quality new office space over 19 floors, arranged above a double-height foyer on the ground floor, retail units at ground level and 3 basement levels. Completion is scheduled for 2018.
