What a Year 2023 was!

To our valued Clients and Suppliers, we hope this message finds you all well and that you are all preparing for an imminent and well-earned Christmas break!

As we look back on the past twelve months, we would like to reflect on the numerous achievements and milestones we have collectively delivered throughout 2023 which in turn make us proud of Banyards.

Our journey over the last 12 months has involved some of the following key highlights:

35 Years of Banyards Success:

We were excited to celebrate a remarkable 35 years of Banyards’ success. This milestone is a testament to the dedication and hard work of each and every member of our team. Thanks to all our staff for contributing to our enduring legacy!

Welcome Jacqueline Taylor, our New Business Operations Manager:

We gave a warm welcome to Jacqueline Taylor, who joined us as our new Business Operations Manager.  As a result, we have seen throughout the year many enhancements in the business.

New Company Charity for 2023/24 – Young Lives vs Cancer:

In 2023, our staff chose to support ‘Young Lives vs Cancer’ as our company charity. We have all come together to help make a positive impact on the lives of young individuals battling cancer.

Welcome Sonia Hudson, our New Finance Assistant:

Sonia Hudson joined our team as the new Finance Assistant, she has done a great job this year in helping us to further enhance and streamline our integration with our internal Access financial control system.

Pension Scheme Review:

We conducted a comprehensive review of our pension scheme to ensure we get the best value for money to look after our staff’s well-being and future security.

Charity Success – Make 2nds Count:

A heartfelt congratulations to all for raising a fantastic £2,673.00 for ‘Make 2nds Count,’ our charity partner for 2022/23.

Retirements:

A special shoutout to Mary Ann Johnson, Dave Young, and John and Val Cose on their well-deserved retirements. We thank them for their dedication and hard work over the years.

Wellbeing Week Celebration:

We celebrated Wellbeing Week, focusing on the health and happiness of all our team members.

New Staff Photos:

We refreshed our staff photos, showcasing the vibrant faces that make up our Banyards family.

Supplier on NHS Shared Business Services Framework:

Banyards were named as a successful supplier on the NHS Shared Business Services framework, a testament to our commitment and excellence. We look forward to receiving many opportunities via this framework in 2024.

Welcome Nancy Salmon to the Business Operations Team:

Nancy Salmon joined our Business Operations Team in London and has already proved to be a fantastic asset to the team, we are delighted to have her on board.

Congratulations – 10 Years with Banyards:

A big congratulations to Neil Burdess, James Sargent and Andy Seeley for a decade of outstanding service to Banyards.

New Project Hub Area:

Our new Project Hub area, has been designed to streamline collaboration and enhance project efficiency.

New Company Vision – “A future where every building we touch positively impacts people”:

Working with our brand strategy partner we worked through our new company vision which was launched at our internal Town Hall Event in October 2023. We look forward to bringing this to life in 2024.

October Town Hall Event:

The October Town Hall Event was a fantastic success, fostering communication and transparency across the business whilst explaining our goals and objectives for the year ahead.

Long-Term Service Recognitions:

Celebrating 20 years at Banyards for Mike Evans, Pauline Stopps, Ian Fordham, and Ralph Lowe. Thank you for your dedication!

Banyards in Lights – Assisting Landsec in the delivery of Lucent:

We played a crucial role in the delivery of the Lucent Project at Piccadilly London, working with Landsec and this success was celebrated by our name illuminated across the Piccadilly lights.

Inaugural Annual Charity Raffle:

We successfully launched our Inaugural Annual Company Charity Raffle, contributing to the support of our chosen charity, ‘’Young Lives vs Cancer’’.

Health Benefit Scheme Launch in November:

As part of our commitment to our staff, November saw us mark the launch of our new Health benefit scheme.

Comprehensive Benefits Guide – ‘’Life at Banyards’’:

Our newly launched comprehensive reward and recognition guide provides insights into ‘’Life at Banyards’’ and the benefits that working with us brings to our staff and their families.

Christmas Party 2023:

As the year drew to a close, we celebrated together at our 2023 Christmas Party, where fun, frolics, music and dancing were enjoyed by all who attended. Also, a big thank you to our very own Saxophonist Daniel Connor! You were fantastic!

As you can see so much has been achieved in the last year that stands us in a great position to press on into 2024 and support you, our clients. All that leaves us to say is a big “Thank You” to you all for your continued support and loyalty to Banyards and here’s to our continued success in the coming year and beyond!

Who we are and how to contact us

Our site is operated by Banyard Consultants Ltd (“We”). We are a limited company registered in England under company number 3847976.  Our registered office is 28-30, Worship Street, London, EC2A 2AH.  Our VAT number is GB 826 7615 08.

By using our site you accept these terms

By using our site, you confirm that you accept the terms of this policy and that you agree to comply with them.

If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our site.

We recommend that you print a copy of these terms for future reference.

Portal Content

The Banyards’ Portal allows you to access information reports, data and test results to check and monitor the progress of work undertaken by third party contractors at your site.  You may only use the Banyards’ Portal for the purpose of accessing information in relation to Projects administered by us for you.

Access to the Banyards’ Portal

At the commencement of each Project you will be provided with a unique login password to enable you to access the Banyards’ Portal.  This will then enable you to review the current status on your various Projects.  You are responsible to ensure that the login password will only be given to those of your employees, agents or advisers whom you wish to access information from the Banyards’ Portal.

By accessing the Banyards’ Portal you will be able to review and download copies of information that are posted by us on your Client Portal.

Updating of Information

Information will be regularly updated by us and in any event within 7 days of verification by us of information provided by your contractors.

All information and data uploaded from time to time to your portal will be correct [at the time of upload].

If for any reason, outside our control, we are unable to upload information to the Banyard’s Portal then we will let you know by posting a message on our website and we will take all reasonable steps to minimise any delays in so doing.

If we fail to upload information to Banyards’ Portal in accordance with these terms and such failure arises from any delay on the part of your contractors or the supply by them of inadequate or incorrect information, then we shall have no liability to you arising from such delays or the uploading of incorrect or misleading information provided to us.

We may make changes to the terms of this policy

We amend these terms from time to time. Every time you wish to use our site, please check these terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.

Breach of this policy

When we consider that a breach of this policy has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.

Failure to comply with this policy constitutes a material breach of the terms of use upon which you are permitted to use our site, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:

  • Immediate, temporary or permanent withdrawal of your right to use the Banyards Portal.
  • Issue of a warning to you.
  • Legal proceedings against you for reimbursement of all costs on an indemnity basis (including, but not limited to, reasonable administrative and legal costs) resulting from the breach.

We exclude our liability for all action we may take in response to breaches of this acceptable use policy. The actions we may take are not limited to those described above, and we may take any other action we reasonably deem appropriate.

Which country’s laws apply to any disputes?

The terms of this policy, its subject matter and its formation (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. By using our site you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
