Nick Till is pretty passionate about Banyards; the people, the clients and the product.
The company started 30 years ago as a partnership and Nick has built the Banyards brand to be one of the most recognisable names in the marketplace, with some of the most innovative, experienced specialists in the industry.
With offices in the South East, London and Manchester to oversee he has become something of a public transport pundit.
As a supporter of UK Green Building Policy and their campaign for a Sustainable Built Environment Nick recognises the importance of including such policies at design stage.
For the last 5 years he has been a member of the ACE Academy of Chief Executives achieving an Inspirational Leadership Silver Award.
Nick takes a keen interest in the education of young engineers and, as former Chair of the Commissioning Specialists Association, was instrumental in making the CSA the benchmark qualification for commissioning, and regularly talks at Foundation4Schools and Entrepreneurs in Business (Launch 22) events at schools and colleges. He has even found the time to mentor post graduate Business Studies students at Surrey University.
When he has some free time, Nick likes to be outdoors; sailing, cycling and shooting which has supplanted golf (too frustrating) as his favourite hobby.
