To support our environmental goals, we’ve partnered with MyCarbon, a leading organisation in carbon offsetting and sustainability, to help us measure, reduce and offset our carbon emissions. This partnership reflects our long-term commitment to carbon neutrality across our business operations.
As part of our work with MyCarbon, a detailed analysis of our carbon footprint was conducted to help us understand where emissions are highest and how we can take meaningful action. It was recommended that we use 2019 as our baseline year, as it reflects a typical year of activity before the pandemic.
Here’s a breakdown of our carbon emissions:
2019: 92.1 tCO₂e (baseline year)
2020: 51.2 tCO₂e (significantly reduced due to Covid)
2021: 94.6 tCO₂e
2022: 133.2 tCO₂e
2023: 121.7 tCO₂e
2024: 158.36 tCO₂e
2025: 414.37 tCO₂e (see below statement)
We understand that emissions can fluctuate from year to year, particularly during periods of business growth or operational change.
2025 Statement
Banyards’ reported carbon emissions increased from 158.36 tCO₂e in 2024 to 414.37 tCO₂e in2025.
This increase is attributable to improvements in the completeness and quality of the underlying data, broader emissions coverage and the increased use of activity-based data in the 2025 assessment.

Banyards report its greenhouse gas emissions annually as an integral part of its Net Zero Strategy. This provides a basis for monitoring emissions trends, measuring progress and assessing the effectiveness of carbon reduction initiatives.
Annual reporting will also enable Banyards to identify areas where further reductions can be achieved, inform future priorities, and support evolving staff and clients, regulatory and sustainability requirements.
This ongoing process of measurement, review and reporting will enable Banyards’ Net Zero Strategy remains measurable, evidence-based and focused on continuous improvement.
Net Zero Emissions Reduction Pathway
Having identified the principal sources and emissions within its greenhouse gas inventory, Banyards’ will use this information to establish a pathway towards Net Zero.
The current greenhouse gas inventory will provide the baseline against which future performance is measured. From this baseline, Banyards has established its anticipated emissions trajectory.
The Net Zero Strategy will focus on the areas where Banyards can achieve the practical emissions reductions. Progress will be reviewed through annual greenhouse gas reporting, allowing the strategy and reduction initiatives to be refined as necessary.
This approach will provide a structured pathway for progressively reducing greenhouse gas emissions and working towards its long-term Net Zero objectives.
Carbon neutrality is not a destination, it’s an ongoing responsibility.

Portal Content
The Banyards’ Portal allows you to access information reports, data and test results to check and monitor the progress of work undertaken by third party contractors at your site. You may only use the Banyards’ Portal for the purpose of accessing information in relation to Projects administered by us for you.
Access to the Banyards’ Portal
At the commencement of each Project you will be provided with a unique login password to enable you to access the Banyards’ Portal. This will then enable you to review the current status on your various Projects. You are responsible to ensure that the login password will only be given to those of your employees, agents or advisers whom you wish to access information from the Banyards’ Portal.
By accessing the Banyards’ Portal you will be able to review and download copies of information that are posted by us on your Client Portal.
Updating of Information
Information will be regularly updated by us and in any event within 7 days of verification by us of information provided by your contractors.
All information and data uploaded from time to time to your portal will be correct [at the time of upload].
If for any reason, outside our control, we are unable to upload information to the Banyard’s Portal then we will let you know by posting a message on our website and we will take all reasonable steps to minimise any delays in so doing.
If we fail to upload information to Banyards’ Portal in accordance with these terms and such failure arises from any delay on the part of your contractors or the supply by them of inadequate or incorrect information, then we shall have no liability to you arising from such delays or the uploading of incorrect or misleading information provided to us.
We may make changes to the terms of this policy
We amend these terms from time to time. Every time you wish to use our site, please check these terms to ensure you understand the terms that apply at that time.
Breach of this policy
When we consider that a breach of this policy has occurred, we may take such action as we deem appropriate.
Failure to comply with this policy constitutes a material breach of the terms of use upon which you are permitted to use our site, and may result in our taking all or any of the following actions:
