Tony has 34 years of experience in Electrical testing and commissioning on a wide and varied range of projects across all sectors. He has 15 years experience as a Senior Commissioning Manager (CSA Grade 6) and holds a number of qualifications such as SMSTS, BS7671 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations, NVQ Level 3 Building Services & City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing.
Since starting with Banyards 7 years ago, Tony has led numerous schemes, such as HSBC Project Peach, MTC high temperature research facility, Kirkstall Forge and most recently University of Manchester – Manchester Engineering Campus Development (MECD) a prestigious £350m project.
In addition to his full-time position as one of our Senior Commissioning Managers. Tony is an active member of Banyards’ internal BREEAM / LEED environmental steering group, formed with representatives from each of our offices. The group share best industry practice, related to sustainable building services and innovation, which in turn leads to how we can implement change in the construction industry to ensure all buildings are fully commissioned, energy-efficient, and sustainable.
