Banyards win Outstanding Customer Satisfaction Winner Award for Greenford High School at the SECBE Constructing Excellence Awards 2019.
The Project team, led by Osborne Construction, have won the award following a 10/10 score for Outstanding Customer Satisfaction over the duration of the project from the Client, Ealing Council.
The project has been hailed for its alternative construction solution of SIPs (Structurally Insulated Panels) which saved Ealing Council £90k and took 10 weeks off the construction period. This solution was made possible by a detailed modelling period during the design conducted by Banyards to ensure the design was compliant with the London Plan and DFE Guidelines.
We worked closely with Osborne to develop their SIP solution which has been consequently deployed on other projects across the UK and produced a detailed M&E design that coordinated with the off-site construction programme.
Banyard’s Project Lead, Mechanical Associate John Hurworth, said “We are proud to have been a part of this Innovative SIP construction project and this award is deserved for all our hard work getting the solution right. Well done team!”
