The existing system of fan coil units was approximately 15 years old and, therefore, nearing the end of its useful life. However, SMP wanted a short-term solution linked to short-term tenancy arrangements for future lettings.
Banyards undertook a comprehensive validation exercise to confirm the plant condition and remedial work required. The lack of record drawings was also addressed by Banyards’ survey work. This allowed Banyards to design the new scheme using as much of the existing equipment as possible within the new open plan CAT A scheme.
The commissioning was witnessed by our commissioning validation team. This comprehensive one-stop service is a unique offering using our in house teams.
