Banyards, proud supporters of Vinters Park under 10’s

Grassroots football teams are often founded on mutual love for the game; however, once a team starts playing on a regular basis there becomes the need for a 'proper' team kit, which unfortunately cannot be funded on enthusiasm alone.

Banyards have supported Vinters Park under 10's for a number of years now, covering the cost of their team shirts (white shirts with the Banyards logo across the middle). Vinters Park are currently playing in the Maidstone Invicta Primary league and are in Division B. At present they are in the middle of their Spring Trophy which consists of 8 teams which will all play each other once. Vinters Park currently sit second in the league with two games to play after picking up 3 wins, 1 draw and 2 losses giving them 10 points. They sit 4 points behind Maidstone United at present who they still have to play, they also need Maidstone to drop points in their other game for them to have a chance of winning the league. At the weekend just gone they played a double header against Kings Hill in which they won one game 0-1 and lost the other 1-0 to Kings Hill's only shot of the game.

The team have had a good season so far being promoted to league A after the Development league only to be dropped back down to League B after the Autumn Trophy; they finished 4th in league B in the Winter league leading onto the Spring trophy.

At the end of the Spring trophy they have a break for a few weeks then have a bye in the end of season cup quarter final and are straight into the semi-final.
