Banyards appointed on fourth project at CB1 Development, Cambridge

50-60 station road.pngAs part of our ongoing relationship with Brookgate, Banyards have been appointed Commissioning Validation engineers for 50-60 Station Road, Cambridge. This is the fourth building on the CB1 Development that Banyards have been involved with having previously worked on 21 Station Road (Microsoft Research), 22 Station Road and One The Square.

Aviva Investors, acting for Aviva Life and Pensions UK Ltd and development specialist, Brookgate, are working on the £87 million new speculative office building, 50 & 60 Station Road, Cambridge. The office scheme, totalling 163,000 sq/ft, will offer cutting edge office accommodation and forms a key part of the CB1 masterplan. Due for completion in Q2 2019 it is the largest speculative office building to be developed in Cambridge city centre.

Cambridge continues to evolve as one the UK’s most important business and research clusters, with a line-up of world-class businesses including Microsoft, Mott MacDonald, Deloitte, Thales and Carter Jonas all based in the vibrant new city quarter surrounding Cambridge’s newly upgraded station.
