Morgan Stanley was planning substantial fitout and refurbishment projects in their Docklands offices and wanted to minimise the disruption to operational services. They needed an efficient process for controlling the many permits to be issued and selected Banyards’ e-permits software for the task.
e-permits allowed the contractors Bovis and ISG to submit their Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permit Requests on-line in a format that met Morgan Stanley’s stringent H&S requirements. It then provided the Authorised Persons with the management information to make informed and safe decisions.
The process was faster and more controlled than previous projects and met the objectives Morgan Stanley set.
Morgan Stanley has since rolled the solution out to their data centres where work authorisation and access control are critical.
