1 million sq.ft., construction project in Docklands with Banyards providing the Commissioning Management

As electrical power was switched on, Banyard Solutions was invited to run a site-wide Permit to Work system to replace the various contractor regimes. The intention was to consolidate effort and cost behind one system to improve control, management information and above all, safety.

The actual benefits of introducing e-permits surprised everyone. The innovative software and tight management ensured that Risk assessments and Method statements were used properly, keys and access were controlled, and management questions were answered promptly. The most important result was, no major accidents after e-permits was introduced which alone, vindicated their choice.
