Nick Till
Managing Director

As one of the original founders of Banyard Consultants, Nick took on the challenging role of MD as the company evolved and expanded with the increased industry demand for professional, accredited commissioning services. With over 25 years experience in the building services industry, Nick likes to keep a close eye on all the contracts and is highly involved at the tender stage. He ensures that the business stays one step ahead at all times and is eager for The Banyard Group to continue in this vein.

Nick is also former chairman of the Commissioning Specialists Association (CSA), www.csa.org.uk an organisation set up especially to raise the profile of commissioning throughout the building services industry, and is keen to continue to raise awareness of the benefits of properly trained and qualified commissioning engineers throughout the industry.

David Cocksedge
Board Director

David Cocksedge's career spans over twenty years. He oversees all commissioning contracts undertaken by Banyard Consultants and is focused on driving the business forwards by developing strong growth over the next phase of the company's expansion.

David's divisions undertake our companies' most prestigious projects including international work, where he has personally worked on projects in Moscow, Cairo, and the Lebanon. David is actively involved with the CSA and sits on its Technical Committee.

Graham Child
Board Director

Graham's wealth of experience draws on his ability to advise on conceptual designs, as well as understanding the practical aspects of detail design. He has a wealth of experience across the UK construction industry, gained with consultants, contractors and Regional Health Authorities, from leisure centres and commercial offices, to the education sector and pharmaceutical installations. With strong project management skills, Graham has undertaken major initiatives for GlaxoSmithKline, the University of Sussex, Chafford Hundred Campus and Charterhouse School (the latter two requiring sustainable design). He has a keen eye for whole-life costs and advises on low and zero carbon technologies. Graham is accredited through CIBSE as a Low Carbon Energy Assessor, certified to provide EPC and DEC assessments.

Mike Evans
Board Director

Mike has an in-depth understanding of electrical engineering services and has led his design teams on a diverse spread of projects that include end-user and speculative commercial office developments, airports, shopping centres, data centres and retail parks. Mike understands the intricacies of building in sensitive sectors such as healthcare and education and has undertaken work related to historically important buildings. Mike's hands-on, jargon-free approach enables clients to fully understand the MEPH brief. Over the past 3 years, he has specialised in trouble-shooting on complex projects, and developing extensive knowledge about the installation of electrical energy-saving equipment within the Defra property portfolio.

Martin J Macnish
Director

Martin has over forty years experience in Consultancy and Contracting within the Building Services Industry. His extensive career has seen him involved in a wide spectrum of project sectors including commercial, healthcare, custodial, retail and leisure as well as education and residential. Martin's experience has provided him with a clear understanding of his clients' business needs and those factors contributing to the economic success of any project. Martin has worked on numerous major developments both in the UK and overseas and is widely experienced in all aspects of the construction industry, major projects include Hospitals, Detention Centres on behalf of the Home Office, Dubai Mass Transit Services and IRS & Hotel Resort and Golf complex in Mauritius.

Ian Fordham
Director

Ian can draw on 26 years post degree experience in mechanical building services engineering; many of which were spent on the design & supervision of highly serviced projects in the private sector, such as Bupa & Capio hospitals. He also has experience within the NHS, commercial, education, retail, leisure and residential sectors. Ian is experienced in working within ‘live’ buildings and minimizing the effect of services amendments to the incumbent occupants, whether in sensitive healthcare premises or high rise offices. He has also undertaken several supervisory roles on a number of refurbishment projects either direct for the Client or for the Main Contractor. Ian is accredited through CIBSE as a Low Carbon Consultant and able to undertake EPC assessments and Air Conditioning Inspections.
