Did you know that under a new legislation in accordance with the Energy Performance in Buildings Directive (EPBD) your Air Conditioning system will require an energy performance inspection?

This new legislation affects everyone in England and Wales that has a building with a single, or multiple Air Conditioning system, with a total installed cooling capacity of over 250kW. By 2011 this legislation will affect all Air Conditioning systems over 12kW too.

At Banyards our Air Conditioning (AC) inspections are performed by an Energy Assessor who will undertake the inspection in accordance with CIBSE document TM44.

This inspection has the potential to be financially beneficial in the long term. In order to ensure that your systems run to their full potential and are cost efficient, recent legislation has been introduced to reduce carbon emissions and operational costs.
